Digital Systems
This course taught the importance of mapping out problems through swim lanes and would introduced the topics of systems such as ERP, CRM, and SCM and their importance to companies.
Financial Accounting
This course covered how to analyze and understand financial reports. It would teach how to document and report financial statements such as balance sheets, statement of cash flows, and statement of earnings.
Web Application Development
This course covered to create loops, arrays, conditional statements, data validation, and responsive web design using Javascript, HTML5, and CSS.
Data and Analytics
This course provided the structure of database systems and how to analyze them. It would teach how to use tools such as MySQL, MongoDB, R, and Tableau Prep.
Cloud Architecture
This course covered how to build and design a cloud-based network infrastructure using Amazon Web Services. In this class, we deployed applications that would securely scale, and created/deployed a simple RESTful API for consumption.
User Experience
This course covered how to perceive the User Experience using Donald Norman’s principles. In the course, we approached UX design from the perspective of the user and the creator. Applying Norman’s principles we critiqued a website, and in the other perspective, we created a website to cater to a client’s need.
Mobile Application Development
This course taught us how to code mobile applications using React Native. In the course, we simulated mobile applications through Android Studio. Some of these applications were a calculator, a to-do list, a chat room, and an ask-ouija game. To simulate multiple phones and have them interact with each other we used a Firebase database to call towards and store data.
