Statistical Business Analytics
In this class we explored data distributions, hypothesis testing, and other statistical methods. This course was an introduction to statistical concepts that can be applied to various business problems relating to data analysis.
Quantitative Methods for Business II
This class developed my digital data analysis skills by giving me experience utilizing Excel to process data. Further, this course introduced statistical concepts to be built on in later courses.
In Data Science, I have learned about the process of creating actionable insights from large data sets through data analysis and visualization. I am interested in pursuing work in data analytics and this course has equipped me with foundational data analysis skills that I can build on as a means of pursuing work in data science and data analytics. This course has developed my interest in a career in data science because I believe the techniques utilized in this class can be applied to important socials related to non-profit, charitable, or government organizations.
Information Systems in Organizations
Participating in the MIS intro course has exposed me to a wide range of knowledge and information on careers in business technology. Learning about systems, data analysis, enterprise systems planning, technology trends, and more has furthered my interest in pursuing a degree in MIS. I hope to build on my knowledge of careers in business technology by pursuing other MIS courses at Temple and relevant work experience.
