Work Experience
During my time so far at Temple University, I have worked many different jobs, that not only taught me a lot about what my interests are, but also taught me skills that will stay with me for the rest of my life. My first job as a freshman was at the Student Center. I worked at the Game Room and Cinema. My duties were to operate the cash register so the customers could use our services and equipment. This job taught me a lot about customer service and also taught me how much of an asset your coworkers are in the work place. I have also held positions in the Student Center like Marketing and Metro Engagement Intern and Information Desk Attendant. My second job of freshman year , and current job is a peer advisor at the Fox Undergraduate Advising Office. My duties are to help with freshman/transfer orientations and also to work in the advising office to assist students with any academic questions or concerns they may have. My next venture will be my job as a Resident Assistant this upcoming school year. I am excited to see what I learn from this position.
