I am a senior MIS major at Temple University. I have very strong interests in business and problem solving. I worked in Temple’s Computer Services department for two years in the Infrastructure, Operations, and Security department as a student worker. In that job I got exposure to data centers, networking, and inventory management. I also worked a summer internship this past summer at Performance Controls Inc. There I served primarily as a tier one help desk employee, but also got the opportunity to do some work in the data center, and some hardware testing. In both of these jobs, I got to see firsthand the impact IT can have in an organization, and the constant efforts to increase efficiency. My goal is to use this experience to go into a business or systems analyst role and help find ways to help the business make decisions and run more efficiently with technology.
