PCI Internship
This past summer I had the privilege of working as an IT Technician at Performance Controls Inc. They design and manufacture high performance amplifiers. I worked as an IT Technician working directly under the systems engineer. I had the opportunity to do several different tasks this summer. I hardware tested all of the computers currently not in use to either re-purpose or take parts from. I did technical debugging on several of the computers that were having issues. I also had the opportunity to create an inventory management system for the IT department. There is now a barcode on every computer so IT can easily have access to past repairs, issues, or computer specifications. This experience helped my technical skill greatly, which I believe will be helpful for me as I pursue a career in IT.
