Center City Proprietors Association

I am currently an intern at Center City Proprietors Association. It is a non-profit chamber of commerce in center city, Philadelphia. I currently work four days a week for preparation of our annual event, Casino 35 on November 21, 2013. I am learning a lot about working in a corporate setting, as well as getting a lot of event planning experience. I have learned how to plan efficiently, while working with a budget; since this is a non-profit organization.

Marathon Grill

Over the summer of 2013 I worked full time at Marathon Grill as a hostess, as well as a counter server. This work place had a very fast pace to it, and it is easy to get lost in the shuffle. Quality customer service was their number one priority, so learning how to keep a customer happy in any condition is what I retrieved from this job. The fast pace of this restaurant taught me how to handle working under pressure.

Finizio’s Restaurant

Throughout high school I worked at Finizio’s as a server. This restaurant too had a fast pace atmosphere, so keeping up with customers is something I took from this job. I worked here for three years, where I learned how to train people. This role gave me experience in a management level.
