Temple University Asian Students Association (TUASA)

Temple University Asian Students Association – Vice President of Community Affairs – 2013-2014

To answer the top question I get asked, I joined TUASA last year because of my interest in international business. Currently, I am the Vice President of Community Affairs after being both an  public relations and professional development last semester. See my duties as Vice President as listed on my resume here.

“Our Mission”

Temple University’s Asian Students’ Association (TUASA) is a family of ambitious and enterprising individuals dedicated to the four pillars of Leadership, Unity, Service, and Integrity (L.U.S.I.) Our guiding principle is that life is about doing something extraordinary – to aggressively pursuing our passions with absolute conviction, to challenging our limits, to building our fellow man to become greater than what he/she is alone and to never accepting anything less. We believe that our successes come not just in our achievement, but more importantly in the fulfillment that comes in the selfless act of giving. We aim not only to provide a family away from home but also to cultivate the next generation of leaders to enact transformative change in whatever path their lives may call them. It is our deepest hope that through fellowship we will build a stronger community, that through service we will build characters of honor and integrity, and that through activism we will inspire the future generations of our community.
