Sit-Down Lunches with AIS Speakers
I had the privilege of being able to attend three sit-down lunches during the spring of 2019. During these lunches, I was able to communicate with MIS professionals about the current landscape of the industry, and what skills are needed to navigate the ever-changing field. My favorite part about these lunches was the small group setting, as it made it quite easy to ask plenty of questions. I learned quite a bit from the three professionals, but the top points that I took away from the meetings were these four points:
- Don’t be afraid to ask questions
- Never stop learning
- People come first
- Quality is more important than quantity
