Beginning in the Fall of 2014, I have been a member of the Temple University Mens Lacrosse Team. As a Division II member of the National Collegiate Lacrosse League, our season consists of both Fall scrimmages and a full 13 game Spring regular season. Currently, our roster consists of 35 men from many different areas. Through our hard work, we have been able to become a team and work together to achieve great success thus far.
Having played lacrosse all throughout high school, I had always dreamed of playing at the collegiate level. Although a club team, I find that the level of play is extremely competitive; forcing me to bring my very best every time I step onto the field.
Additionally, I have also been able to develop my ability to work on a team. Lacrosse is a very intelligent and strategic sport, requiring everyone on the field to be able to interpret what is happening at any given moment. Very similar to the corporate life, you must be able to assess a situation and not only see how you will respond, but also address what is in the best interest of the team, and act accordingly in a matter of seconds.
