Careers in Color- President
As President of Careers in Color at Temple University (2025–Present), a student organization sponsored by the Temple University Career Center, I lead initiatives focused on career readiness, networking, and professional development for students of color. I plan and facilitate events such as industry panels, workshops, and networking sessions throughout the academic year while overseeing member engagement, outreach, and organizational operations. In this role, I collaborate with campus partners and industry professionals to create meaningful opportunities that connect students to career resources and mentorship. Through this experience, I have developed strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, and learned how to coordinate structured programs that address the professional needs of diverse student populations. This experience aligns closely with my coursework in Management Information Systems by strengthening my ability to manage processes, organize information, and work cross-functionally to achieve impactful outcomes.
