Coursework + Career Interest
My coursework at Temple Fox School of Business has prepared me for my future career. The general courses provided well-rounded knowledge of each aspect of the business, while the MIS courses covered a wide variety of skills needed in the field. Through the MIS major, I was able to explore each aspect of MIS, including; IT architecture, coding, business analysis, data analytics, and project management. The MIS3504 class, for example, has taught me how to be a business analyst. I enjoyed this class a lot and want to integrate these skills in a future career. In this class, we were able to work with a real client on a specific problem, work with a real team of people, and create an actual solution to the problem. This way of learning prepares you more for the workforce than general lecture classes.
