Women of the Cloud College Tour at Temple University
This event was very informative and I was able to learn so much about so many different individuals stories. I enjoyed hearing about both the challenges and successes that on can achieve if they put their mind to it. There were a lot of “golden nuggets” per se that stuck with me.
My main takeaways were the following:
- You are not always going to succeed at what you pursue initially, but it is the drive and the will that you inhabit that will ultimately get you to your end goal.
- Don’t compare yourself to another individual because YOU are your own person and there is only one of you.
Throughout the panels and the breakout sessions, I learned a lot about not being afraid to confront the challenges that may be in my future, but to embrace them and make the best of my situation in order to stand out. I will be using a lot of the information I gained from this event in my future to place a better foot forward in my adventures.
