AMETEK Hughes Treitler was started in 1947 and is a manufacturer of custom-engineered aerospace plate-fin heat exchangers. Hughes Treitler is owned by AMETEK , Inc and is within their Aerospace and Defense division.At Hughes Treitler my primary project I worked on was preforming a facility wide upgrade to Windows 10. This also included checking all computers security software and settings to insure corporate and government compliance. While doing so I leaned how to manage users on a network with Microsoft Active Directory. I also monitored the weekly network back up to ensure we stored the correct information in compliance with government contracts. The second project I worked on involved beginning the implementation of a paperless quality management system. The system we used replaced the hard copy of the quality report, and kept track of information on the report to be used for analytics. I really enjoyed my time at Hughes Treitler and feel I gained insight on the path I would like to take my career.
