VietLEAD is a new Vietnamese community-based organization that focuses on intergenerational building through leadership development, community engagement, culture & arts, and health promotion work.
Administrative Assistant at VietLead
- Studied Asian American history alongside a group of youths and compiled information into multiple presentations to present to the community
- Interviewed ~20 community members about the topics of intergenerational gap, gardening, food, and education
- Organized a community forum in which ~60 community members were educated on the topics learned throughout the program
Media Intern at VietLead
- Collaborated with the civic engagement and land team to plan a school garden for Furness High School
- Completed workshops on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create a community cookbook
- Organized Refugee Day Event for ~150 community members to acknowledge and celebrate refuges in our community.
Technical Support at Temple University Libraries
- Troubleshooted computer, printer, and copier issues for 30,000+ students, faculty, and guests.
