AIS Mentorship Program
Being a mentee in the AIS Mentorship Program helped widen my knowledge on the vast amount of opportunities available for MIS majors. Going into the program, one of my biggest concerns was how I would be able to acquire such a large amount of PRO points. My mentor introduced me to many opportunities that would help such as competitions, career fairs, and student teaching jobs. I was also able to gain insight on the process of searching for jobs and internships from their experience which I used to better prepare myself on my own search. Overall, I am glad that this program was available because it made me more confident in planning my future with the guidance of an experienced mentor.
