AIS Mentorship Program
Reflection
I joined AIS this spring as a recently declared MIS major, as well as someone who had never been in an association prior. Admittedly, I am not typically the type of person to step outside of my comfort zone, thus I genuinely did not know what to expect of the upcoming semester. However, the transition could not have been any smoother. With the guidance of my mentor, Clint E. Davis Jr., I knew that I made the right choice in deciding to join AIS. Clint has been a massive help, providing me with insight whenever I have leaned on him, whether it be related to class, the program, or simply life itself. Throughout this program, I managed to connect with other MIS majors, network, achieve PRO points, and most importantly, accomplish the goals that Clint and I had set for myself in the first meeting between us. I could not be any happier with the decision I made to not only join AIS, but the AIS mentorship program as well.
