IT Development Intern

      1. My role an IT development intern was to assist the IT department with the development of a rest API. We used HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Python to construct the API. My tasks were to develop the physical appearance of the website with CSS and Adobe XD.

      1.       This is a screenshot of the website design I created from scratch on Adobe XD. We are currently in the process of implementing the design using Flask and Python.
    3. What you learned and how it relates to your major (e.g., describe what you learned from this experience in the context of specific courses)
      1. This internship was a great learning experience especially after finishing MIS 2402 in the Spring since we used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The internship provided me with real-world experience on how these languages are used in business and grew my confidence in each language. I also learned how to use Adobe XD which is an application used to develop websites across all platforms.
