Tax Preparer
Instant Tax Service
I am currently working as a Tax Preparer at Instant Tax Service. My job description incorporates preparing tax returns for customers by filling out forms that pertained, giving customers estimates of tax returns on the phone and in person and marketing our products to new and returning customers. Now that tax season is slowing down, I am also assisting the Regional Manager prepare reports of various customers which will be presented to the corporate office.
Student Fundraiser
Ruffalo CODY
I worked as a student fundraiser at Temple Telefund for the time period September 2012 – December 2013. I mainly called alumni, parents and friends of the university asking for donations for Temple University’s annual campaign. I raised about $75,735 during my time there which helped mitigate the burden of student loans for some Temple students. I also had the opportunity to directly connect with Temple alumni and network with a great crowd of people who are excited about Temple’s growth over the years.
Office Intern/Assistant
Nazareth International Trading
I interned at Nazareth International Trading and served as a general secretary at the headquarters of an importing and exporting company working mainly with two executive managers based in Ethiopia when I was there over the summer of 2013. This was a great opportunity for me to see how business was conducted in a country outside the US and see how it differs. I had the opportunity to meet some clients representing Clariant who were attending a meeting I had arranged.
