I have recently become involved in a medical company called Nexalin Technology. Nexalin Technology offers a medication-free treatment for anxiety, depression, insomnia, and physical pains. Nexalin utilizes an FDA approved medical device, which works by using transcranial electrical stimulation to alter neurochemicals in the brain. I work as a technician by using the device to treat people over a two week period. I keep track of their progress throughout the two week period and get to see their progress during that time. I really enjoy working with this technology because it allows me to help people overcome debilitating mental and physical disorders, while also allowing me to apply my knowledge of neuroscience.
