I actively networked with top tech and business companies at the Temple University Career Fair, showing my technical IT expertise and Management Information Systems (MIS) experience from my academic studies. Discussing new developments in data management, cybersecurity, and IT project management, I networked with people from the field. I made a compelling case for myself at interviews and in full-time roles by showcasing my proficiency in SQL, data analytics, and systems analysis. Insights into business cultures, the requirements of the labor market, and the particular skills employers look for in exceptional applicants were also invaluable to me. I learned more by attending the fair about matching industry demands with my career objectives and building a professional network to advance my career in the future.
