Financial Accounting

Financial accounting gave me the education needed to successfully track and record the flow of money in a company and my own personal accounts.

Risk Management and Insurance

This class taught me not only the depths of risk and insurance in business but also in my own life.

Financial Management

I developed a deep knowledge of the planning, directing, monitoring, organizing, and controlling of the monetary resources of an organization.

Microeconomics

Microeconomics taught me how even the smallest factors can effect an individuals decisions in the market. This class taught me the importance of human choices and incentives.

Macroeconomics

This class showed me the part of economics that is concerned with the larger scale economic factors, such as interest rate and productivity, and how that they play their own role on the decisions made by the greater population.

Managerial Accounting

Managerial Accounting taught me ways to better inform myself before making financial decisions whether in an organization or my own finances, which will aid performance and management of money.

Statistical Business Analysis I, II, III

This class taught me how to read, interpret and solve a business problem within an organization. Using statistics, models, graphs and excel we are able to interpret data to solve the problem at hand.

Legal Studies of Business Contracts

Legal Studies of business contracts was one of my favorite classes at Temple. In this class, I learned the basics of law interpretation and details to look for in business contracts which could cause benefits or losses in the future.

International Trade

In this class we focused on the developing a knowledge of the exchange of capital, goods and services across international boarders. This class was intriguing to me regarding my love of foreign cultures and governmental policies.

Data Analytics

Data Analytics is a course that I believe every student should have to take. The world is always changing but, no matter what data is going to play an extremely important role in it. In this class we developed the skills needed to analyze raw data to interpret conclusions about that information.

Intermediate Macroeconomics Analysis

During this course we used tools that we learned in macroeconomics to study various macroeconomic policy problems.

Data-Centric Application Development

This class was based on developing an “architecture” where data is the primary asset and applications can come and go. This class taught me efficient ways to read, interpret and organize data.
