Temple University Football
One of my greatest passions my entire life has been Temple University Athletics– in particular Temple Football. I have had the opportunity to work for the program since my freshman year in the video department. I am part of an eight-person team that is responsible for filming, managing, and distributing practices and games. Through my years, my responsibilities have increased and I find myself interacting with different parts of the program every day. This opportunity has exposed me to compliance, public relations, and various other communications aspects of college sports.
I aspire to learn more about the football operations part of college athletics, whether internal or external. There are business aspects within these positions that I believe could further my knowledge as I pursuit an athletics administrative position.
Alpha Epsilon Pi
Since my freshman year, I have been a member of the Alpha Pi Chapter of the Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity. This is a nationally recognized jewish fraternity that participates in numerous philanthropic causes throughout each school year. Our organization leaves an impact on the surrounding Philadelphia through numerous open events and fundraising opportunities. In addition to this, our fraternity is constantly working in sync with others in the Greek community to better ourselves and represent the university well.
As a member of this fraternity, I believe I have developed a number of skills that will translate well to the business world. For one, my teamwork and communication skills have improved immensely. As fundraising chair, I was responsible for working with various organizations to host and implement philanthropic and fundraising opportunities. I found myself constantly working with others to coordinate events and activities. We worked diligently and effectively to plan these events, make our presence known, and have an impact on the surrounding communities.
