Temple Newman Center
My involvement in the Temple Newman Center has been very important to me during my time at Temple. This is a unique student organization because it is a community based organization where all members are called to be leaders. I embrace the role of being an active general body member by getting involved in many functions of the Newman Center. I have helped prepare for the first ever Opening Week Barbeque held at the Newman Center. There were over 300 people at the barbeque, so my cooking talents were called upon too. Also I have assisted in setting up fellowship events such as the first annual Turkey Bowl Flag Football game, Madden Tournament, and with Sunday lunches.
