Supply Chain Foundations: Project Management
Completing this LinkedIn certificate in May 2025, this has helped me gain a broader perspective and valuable skills that I would need in my position working in supply chain management. In the module, I gained a better perspective on how to analyze supply chain project using tools like value stream mapping and SIPOC diagrams in order to manage logistics and operations projects that would be heavily utilized in supply chain management. Using approaches like Agile and 6 Sigma, the course taught me how to identify the key stakeholders needed for analysis and to implement logistics projects in an effective and efficient manner. In terms of my courses, being able to manage logistical projects and analyze the key stakeholders out of it is useful in terms of my Statistics and Data Science minor classes and my other major of Economics. My current job right now focuses on procurement analysis, so this was definitely useful in that respect as I am able to apply more techniques in developing operation plans and just in general project management that can be applicable in fields outside of supply chain management. I would overall say that this LinkedIn module was useful in gaining more supply chain management skills using project management frameworks.
