Strategic Analysis of Robinhood
During my Strategic Management this semester, I completed a comprehensive research project examining Robinhood, a financial services company recognized for its commission-free trading platform. The project was focused on evaluating the company’s competitive strategy, business model, and long term strategic direction within the fintech industry. My role entailed conducting in depth research, applying strategic models such as SWOT analysis and Porter’s Five Forces, and assessing industry patterns impacting Robinhood’s expansion and sustainability. Through this project, I developed strategic recommendations aimed at strengthening Robinhood’s competitive advantage, improving buyer trust, and tackling regulatory and operational obstacles. This project improved my ability to analyze complicated business situations, make decisions based on data, and clearly share what I learned. The project helped me with evaluating, solving problems, and doing strategic analysis, as well as applying what I learned in class to my future professional endeavors.
