My interest
1) FIRST (FRC)
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an organization that inspires young people to science and technology leaders. During high school I participated in their FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) joining team 1143 (now team 7056) Cruzin’ Comets as their head mechanic. Later on during my junior and senior year I became the team captain and was honored to take our team to the Philadelphia and Baltimore regional in which we place 2nd and 3rd respectively.
FIRST robotics taught me team work, leadership, and passion for everything I work on and gave me the chance to work with Lockheed Martin engineers who taught me aspects of mechanical and electrical engineering and real life experiences that others cannot receive. I am truly grateful to team 7056 Cruzin’ Comets and to FIRST and will put great use to all that I learned there.

2) Gunpla
GUNPLA are plastic models of mechs from the franchise Gundam made by Bandai.
With my robotics background I really got into hobbies that required a lot of construction and hand-work, however I also wanted something cheap as well, this is how I got into Gunpla. Gunpla’s come in different sizes and designs and can take anywhere from 5 hours to 1 month to make.
As a fan of the franchise and someone who loves to create and innovate, Gunpla has really pushed my imagination and skills in order to reach my goal of attending the Gunpla Builders World Cup!
