About me

My name is Dean Kutos and I am a second year accounting major in the Fox School of Business at Temple University. I serve as treasurer of the National Association of Black Accountants, a student professional organization at Temple. I plan to graduate in May 2016 with 150 credits. This will enable me to take all parts of the CPA or Certified Public Exam and become a practicing CPA. My first career goal will be to acquire a job in either a public or private accounting firm before my graduation hits. Audit is definitely my target industry to get into in the accounting field. I have always wanted to travel and love to learn about companies and their various aspects. With these two things in-mind, a career in audit is a clear-cut choice on my part.

As for my life before Temple, I grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and graduated from Liberty High School. Through my four years there I was part of the National Honors Society, played baseball, basketball and golf and attained honor roll every semester. I have always been very passionate about sports and played/coached them for all of my life. Team work is key in these sports and I plan to bring that aspect along with me when starting my career.
