Protiviti is a global consulting firm that delivers solution base expertise in technology, business process, analytics, risk, compliance, transactions and internal audit. Protiviti consist of 7,000 employees serving clients from 85 office locations in over 25 countries. I been granted the opportunity to join Protiviti as a consultant assigned to the Internal Audit & Financial Advisory-Technology practice. The role of the IAFA-Technology consultant consists of control implementations and third-party risk assessments of information systems and internal business operations. Assignments will include opportunities to participate in client-based projects entailed of analyzing potential risks, system vulnerabilities, and formulating optimal solutions for improvement of IT infrastructures. The assigned role will allow for me to display knowledge of cloud services, technological risk analysis, and project management aligned with MIS 3406 Cloud Architecture, MIS 4596 Managing Enterprise Cybersecurity, and MIS 3535 Lead Global Digital Projects. The opportunity to join Protiviti will grant the opportunity for me to increase my understanding of IT frameworks and environments as I expand my career within MIS.
