About me

I was born in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois and grew up in the Philadelphia, Pa area.  I have three older brothers and grew up in a single parent household.  As an adult, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.  Currently, I am a part time student at Temple University and work full time at Wawa, Inc.  Balancing all of this has improved my time management skills over the past ten years.  I enjoy learning  new things, spending time with family and friends, sports, and art.

One of my goals is to be the first in my immediate family to attain a college degree.  I also have a goal to enjoy a career in the accounting field in which I have a passion for and enjoy.  I like to analyze and solve problems.  I like to see how things work and understand how they work.  I enjoy working with a team, but also can work alone.

I have a big family and love to spend time with them.  One of my favorite times of the year is Christmas because its one of the few times in a year where my parents, brothers and sister-in-laws, and seven nieces and nephews spend the day together.  All of us will also get together with my aunt, her four kids, and seven grand children for Christmas.  I love to spend time with family and friends during the spring and summer doing things like BBQ in the back yard, go to Phillies games, music concerts, or camping.
