Lifeguard
In my capacity as a lifeguard at Votee Park Pool, sponsored by the Teaneck Recreational Department, I assumed an important role in ensuring pool safety and responding to emergencies. My responsibilities included constant water monitoring, enforcing facility rules, and actively participating in regular emergency drills. Engaging in ongoing CPR, first aid, and water rescue training not only enhanced my lifesaving skills but also underscored the importance of teamwork and effective communication in high-pressure situations. This experience has equipped me with the ability to make quick, well-informed decisions and demonstrated my adeptness in dynamic environments.
