Front End Dev @Stuzo
Stuzo is a mid-sized consultation business that focuses on business innovation via omnichannel marketing solutions. The company has a location in Philadelphia and two additional locations in Ukraine.
I began working as a contractor for content creation and video editing. As my time progressed, this role evolved to include responsibilities for QA, front end development in WordPress, and an SME on a multitude of projects.
Much of my time was spent working on an insights platform that Stuzo was developing. The scope of my work included embedding over 70 videos on the site – 40 of which, I had edited myself. To make the site more interactive, I helped create an interactive map that lets users peruse the locations we shot videos at, and select the video at that certain location. This project – as well as others – required multiple rounds of QA. Our team used Jira for reporting, so I would register bugs and write new tickets with this software.
I gained a priceless amount of tacet knowledge and first-hand experience in project management and business analysis from this internship. I feel much more confident, not only as a prospective employee in IT but overall as a worker.
