Education

For my capstone course, we took a hands-on approach to learn about cyber-security. From breaking hashes to picking locks, we learned the importance of understanding cyber threats and preparing accordingly.

We were given a virtual server with permission to exploit as much information on it as we could – with the techniques we learned in class. This penetration testing report describes the different methods we used to exploit information from the server.

For this course, some peers and I were assigned as a group of project managers. We were paired with students from another course who were working as BA’s and given a real-life project. We had to set budgets, write the scope of the project, and make sure that the project was following schedule and scope. Every week we had scheduled meetings with our BA’s where we would review the status of the project and set objectives for the future. For every meeting, we would create a progress report to archive our project’s status and make sure we were meeting our objectives.
