New Cybersecurity Reporting Roles
This webinar took place over zoom on October 25th and it was about the new cybersecurity compliance rules. The speaker, Mrs. Thu Nguyen is from Wells Fargo, and is also involved with Temple University’s ITACS program, She talked about how these updated rules are changing the game for public companies, investment advisors, and a bunch of other financial entities. It was pretty cool to see how all these different areas like tech, law, and finance are coming together under these new cybersecurity guidelines. I especially liked how she used real-world examples to show what’s at stake and why these changes are so crucial. The whole thing gave me a lot to think about, especially considering how important cybersecurity is becoming in pretty much every field out there.
