Enterprise Data Intern
During my 9 week internship with Starr Insurance working with the Data Operations team, I learned a lot and performed many tasks. I conducted gap analysis by reviewing and comparing TPA’s and company layouts identifying discrepancies and missing fields for adjustment, liaised with TPA’s via emails and meetings to outline project expectations and establish timelines for deliverables, and also utilized SQL to identify errors and analyze trends in actuarial data, resolving data issues effectively. Overall, this was a great first internship experience because I got experience under my belt, learned many new things, and grew not only professionally but personally.
