Business Honors Student Association
I became a member of the Business Honors Student Association in Fall of 2012. BHSA is a Student Professional Organization within the Fox School of Business that caters to members of the Fox Honors Program. During that semester I was very active within the club. I went to many of their community service events, social events, and professional development events. At the end of the Fall semester I applied to be an officer.
I became an officer in the Spring semester of 2013. I was given the position of Director of Events. In that position I was responsible for planning social and community service events as well as the BHSA Banquet that took place in May of 2014. I organized many events that ranged from dinners, social events throughout Philadelphia, and community service ventures with many of Philadelphia’s top non-profit organizations.
In November of 2013 I interviewed for an executive position within BHSA. I was named Vice President of the organization in November of 2013. In this role I have worked as the manager of the organization and oversee the daily responsibilities of seven directors. I work in helping them in their designated areas of Finance, Membership, Events, Fundraising, Communications, and Professional Development.
