Data Analytics for Business Professionals
“Data Analytics for Business Professionals”, taught by John Johnson, went over data analytics in the business world, types of data, predictive and prescriptive analytics, guidelines for formulating questions, data collection issues, nature of averages, sampling, cherry-picking, forecasting, and correlation versus causation. Since I’m a MIS major with a minor in Business Analytics, this course applies directly to my academic and professional career. In my most recent internship, I worked closely with data analytics and found a passion for the field. I’m considering it as a possible career path!
