Activities & Interests
Temple SHRM:
I currently serve as treasurer for Temple University’s chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management. Next year I have accepted the role of Vice President of Communications. If you would like to know more about my involvement with Temple SHRM please click here to go to my experience section.
BHSA:
I have been a member of the Business Honors Student Association since I started at Temple my freshman year. BHSA has provided me with countless opportunities for personal development, career development, networking, and even mock interviews. I attend weekly events and workshops, as well as staying active through BHSA volunteer events and social events to get to know my peers better. Other interests:
Cooking
- Over the past year I have developed a love of cooking. I enjoy experimenting with flavors and recipes, and inviting others over to enjoy my creations
Running
- I’m working towards running a half marathon in the next year. It will take a lot of hard work and dedication, but those are two things I am very used to doing.
Photography
- I started taking photography classes in high school and learned both how to shoot and hand develop images. I still enjoy shooting both digital and analog. I plan to use some free time this summer going on adventures through Philadelphia to find some interesting shots.
Volunteering
- Relay for Life: I have been an active participant of Relay for Life for the past 6 years. I work both individually and with my team to fundraise money for the event which is run through the American Cancer Society.
- Service Trips: For 5 years in a row I went on a week-long trip to volunteer in communities in need with a local youth group. Some of the places we worked were: West Virginia, New York, Mississippi, and Canada.
