Academic History
Four years ago I came to Temple University excited, but scared. I had not declared a major, nor had any idea of what I was interested in pursuing. Halfway through my freshman year I discovered my love for numbers, problem solving, and critical thinking, and, therefore, I declared Accounting as my major! After taking several accounting classes, I became uninterested in the audit and taxation side and became extremely passionate about the managerial side of accounting. I envisioned myself working in the consulting business after graduation. Due to this realization, I declared MIS as my second major in hopes that this combination of majors will help me develop the skills necessary to become a successful business consultant/analyst.
Throughout my college journey, I tried very hard to distinguish myself from my classmates by participating in extracurricular activities such as:
-Member of Fox School of Business’ Honors Program
-Active member of the Immersion Program
-Member of the Institute of Management Accountants at Temple (I-MAT)
-Member of Association for Information Systems (AIS)
-TA for the Information Systems in Organizations class
In addition to my extracurricular activities, I have a strong academic background.
-3.84 Cumulative GPA
-Member of Dean’s List every semester completed (6 semesters)
