Marketing and Street Team Intern
Most Recently, I served as a Marketing and Street Team Intern for the Camden Riversharks, another minor league baseball team that is independently owned and operated. As a marketing intern I performed many tasks including the brainstorming ideas for new promotions and theme nights, fulfilling donation requests, writing and editing stories for our monthly program, and updating the Riversharks official iPhone app. I also acted as a member of the Rivershark’s Street Team, assisting in the planning and production of all in-game promotions, a well as pre-game and post-game events. Additionally, I represented the Riversharks organization at several appearances and events throughout the community.
Trenton Thunder, AA Affiliate of the New York Yankees – Trenton, NJ
Front Office Intern
During the summer of 2013, I was employed as a Front Office Intern for the Trenton Thunder Minor League Baseball team, the AA Affiliate of the New York Yankees. As an intern, I rotated through office departments including stadium operations, promotions and production, food service, ticket sales, office management, public relations, and sold tickets during a 2-hour call center. In addition, I preformed pre-game duties and acted as member of the game day staff for every home game with tasks including ushering, fan services, running the security office, managing the front desk, assisting in the accounting department, and participating in on field promotions. I was also given the opportunity to represent the Trenton Thunder at several community appearances within Mercer County, NJ and Bucks County, PA by providing promotional and event information to potential fans.
