I earned this badge by completing 10 modules in the AWS Academy Cloud Foundations course. This course offered a detailed overview of cloud concepts, AWS core services, security, architecture, pricing, and support. I learned how to:
- Create an Amazon Elastic Cloud Computing (EC2) Instance
- Create and secure an Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) that spans in two Availability Zones with a “Public” and “Private” network segment in each
- Utilize services provided by Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS)
- Work with Elastic Block Store (EBS)
- Create and utilize my own Amazon Machine Image (AMI) and then clone it
- Generate and leverage load balancers, launch configurations, and auto scaling groups
- Design a client/server program using a RESTFUL API to pass parameters and store data in an RDS Instance
