Uploading PDFs<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you are looking for sample scenarios of ways to earn points, get inspired and create a plan by reading about Josie Smith<\/a>, a new freshman, or Mary Jones<\/a>, a new transfer student!<\/span><\/p>\n

As for our e-portfolio tip this month, we will learn how to post PDFs on your site.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> In your new post\/page, click \u201cInsert\u201d \u00a0\u2192 \u201cAdd Media\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alternatively, you can click on \u201cAdd Media\u201d above the menu bar.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> \u201cUpload Files\u201d \u2192 \u201cSelect Files\u201d. Select your PDF to upload.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can also upload multiple files at once.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Select the file you want to post.<\/span><\/p>\n

You can edit the \u201cTitle\u201d to change the text that will appear in the post\/page.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you prefer to do it later, click \u201cInsert into post.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong> Your PDF will be inserted as a hyperlink with your file name as the text.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you want to change the text, click on the link, and the pencil icon.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 5:<\/strong> Click on the settings icon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Change the \u201cLink Text\u201d to the text that you want to be displayed on the post\/page.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you want the file to pop up in a new tab when a user clicks on the link, check \u201cOpen link in a new tab\u201d checkbox.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you\u2019re done making changes, click \u201cUpdate\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 6:<\/strong> Make sure the text has been changed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Save your changes and test out your link to make sure that it’s working.<\/span><\/p>\n
