Creating Favicons<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

A favicon (short for favorite icon), is a small icon that represents your website, most often found in the address bar of your web browser or in lists of bookmarks. Creating a personalized favicon is a great way to enhance your personal brand as users can easily recognize your website at a glance. By default, the favicon of your e-portfolio is your profile picture, but here\u2019s how you can change it:<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 1:<\/strong> In your dashboard, go to \u201cAppearance\u201d \u2192 \u201cMenus\u201d \u2192 \u201cManage with Live Preview\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2:<\/strong> On the top left, click on the blue back (\u201c<\u201d) icon, and then select \u201cSite Identity\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Under \u201cSite Icon,\u201d click \u201cChange Image.\u201d Upload your desired favicon the same way you would upload an image on your e-portfolio<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 4:<\/strong> Once you have uploaded your new favicon, click \u201cPublish\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Side tip:<\/span> if your page is not in \u201cPublish\u201d mode, click on the settings icon and change it to \u201cPublish\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 5:<\/strong> You should be able to see your new favicon on your title bar of your browser as well as on your bookmark<\/span><\/p>\n
