Events Catering Team Member
Beginning in March 2025 and continuing through Spring 2026, I worked as an Events Catering Team Member for All About Events, LLC, a Philadelphia-based event staffing and catering company located at 1136 Arch Street. The company specializes in large-scale event production and catering, including events featuring vendors from the Reading Terminal Market. In this role, I was responsible for setting up and arranging furniture and equipment according to custom floor plans, serving food items sourced from Reading Terminal Market merchants, breaking down event spaces, sweeping and mopping designated areas, and setting up food stations and displays. I also cleaned and sanitized catering equipment and preparation areas, and collaborated with team members to ensure smooth event execution. This position required strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment during evening and weekend shifts. Through this experience, I developed professional communication and teamwork skills, gained exposure to event logistics and operations management, and strengthened my ability to perform under pressure — all of which are valuable competencies that complement my studies in Management Information Systems at Temple University.
