Python for Non-Programmers

This past weekend I completed the Python for non-programmers course from LinkedIn learning. This is a great course, and it taught me a lot in addition to what I am currently learning in my MIS Data & Analytics course. This course gave a detailed overview of the necessary basics needed to start coding with Python. It showed me good practice for using indentations and commas and how to comment out code and how to assign values to variables and get user input and assign it to variables, it also showed me how to create dictionaries and lists and use for loops and if else statements to manipulate data. Additionally, it showed me how to recognize different data types like floats, ints, and strings. Also, it went into more details on how to define functions and passing in parameters to return values. This was a wonderful course that introduced a lot of key concepts that are necessary to work with Python. I am confident that in the future I will be able to use my Python skills to collect, manipulate, and analyze data to make useful business decisions.
