IT Specialist I
I will be employed by Rivers Casino Philadelphia, located at in Philadelphia, PA. Rivers Casino is a prominent entertainment and gaming venue, with a dynamic and engaging work environment. I will be part of the Information Technology department, supporting the casino’s technical infrastructure and user systems.
As an IT Specialist I, I will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computing systems, applications, and network connections across the organization. My responsibilities include responding to user support requests, performing preventative maintenance, creating IT documentation, and ensuring compliance with IT policies.
This position directly relates to my degree in Management Information Systems. My studies have equipped me with the skills to design and deploy software applications, build web-based and API-driven business solutions, and utilize cloud infrastructure such as Amazon Web Services. Additionally, my experience in data analysis and database management enables me to address technical challenges efficiently and provide data-driven insights to improve IT operations. This role offers the opportunity to apply my academic training in a real-world environment while contributing to the organization’s technical success.
