Village Mentor
As a village mentor under The DREAM AmeriCorps Program, I provide guidance to a group of students from low-income households, spanning the ages of 5 to 18. My role involves actively participating in the planning, organization, and execution of weekly enrichment activities tailored to the diverse needs and interests of the students. I interact with all of the students to provide them any academic or personal support they need. I coordinate with other mentors to help fundraise for the various activities planned for the students.
