Hospitality Operations/Hospitality Services Intern
- At this internship, I work with the operations team and the hospitality services team to complete tasks that will help them get ready for the summer of 2019. They take care of all of the events that happen at University of Pennsylvania. Because they take care of the events, they need to be prepared for all of the information that will be coming in before the summer starts, and I support them in this area.
So far, I’ve worked on process models and flowcharts, and also worked with tracking inventory and working with the Project Management Manual for the Summer of 2019.
I have learned what happens on the opposite end of a Unveristy, and all of the work that goes into it. It relates to my major because I have learned a lot about models and diagrams, and I have been able to use my knowledge of process models and ERD diagrams to help create models that interns in the summer will be able to use.
