Student Worker-Information Technology Assistant
I began my role as an Information Technology Assistant in the Spring of 2020 and am continuing my role through the Fall 2020 semester. As an ITA I have administered labs, assignments, and exams for about 60 students in the Information Systems in Organizations course and assist current students with basic Javascript coding, WordPress functions, and API capabilities in class and through email. In the second half of the semester I hold weekly office hours to provide support to any student currently taking an MIS 2101 course with their coding assignments and project. During this time, I also help prepare students for exams by helping them through practice problems and providing study tips. Being an ITA has ensured that I have successfully learned the coding skills described above to the point where I can assist others in learning them.
