Academics
I graduated from The William Penn Charter School in 2012. Much of my success at Temple has been a direct result of the knowledge and preparation I received from the teachers I was fortunate to have during my high school years. During my time at Penn Charter, I played varsity golf all four years, and became the captain my senior year.
After graduating from Penn Charter, I decided to pursue a Bachelors in Business Administration from Temple University. I was drawn to Temple because of its excellent and competitive program in Architecture, a career I believed suited me upon finishing high school. However, I realized early on in my first semester at Temple that pursuing it as a career would not bring me much satisfaction both during my college years and beyond. I was drawn to the Fox School of Business because of its merit and well designed undergraduate program. During my first semester studying business, I realized that this was the type of work I could see bringing me much enjoyment and success in the future. I currently maintain a 3.80 cumulative GPA. I recently declared a double major in Risk Management and Insurance; and Finance. I believe these two majors will combine to effectively distinguish me from other applicants during my job search, and also prepare me for the complex financial system.
