Career Objectives
My name is Gabriel Gerenza, and I am currently a junior risk management and insurance major at Temple University. My goal is to graduate from Temple within the next two years with an exceptional GPA, and a full time job offer in the risk management industry. Post graduation I aspire to live in Philadelphia for a few years and continue to further my intelligence and professional development. Years down the road, with all the knowledge and experience I gained from the business world, I would love to open my own business in any field up and coming at that moment. This desire in which I long to own or run my own business stems from my mother who is my role model in life. She is an example of a task-master, who is hardworking and loving. She has paved her own way for success in opening a number of different businesses from nail-salons, consignments shops, to an asphalt maintenance company. Growing up around these family-run businesses I believe I already have the basic understanding on what it is that makes a company run effectively and efficiently. I work well with others and have no problem dealing with instructions or directions. I also like to believe that I am approachable and personable when it comes to people and potential clients. I am a hardworking, competitive person who is ready to take the reigns on success and take my life to the next step. I am extremely fortunate for growing up around businesses and having the current opportunity of earning a BBA, specializing in risk management and insurance from Temple University, I refuse to stop working until I am a proud, successful businessman.
